Fernando Casanova (actor)
Fernando Casanova - born Fernando Gutiérrez López; (24 November 1925 – 16 November 2012) was a Mexican actor who began his career during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema, and in the 1960s reached the height of his success, becoming one of the most popular actors at the time. Life and career Casanova was born Fernando Gutiérrez López on 24 November 1925, though some sources state 1922. As a teenager, he aspired to be a bullfighter, eventually leaving his studies to follow said occupation. He had the opportunity to debut in the Toreo de la Condesa in Mexico City, where he was gored on his right leg. Afterwards, Casanova would return to the bullring, but a few years afterwards, he decided to leave the profession. Armando Silvestre
Armando Enrique Ricardo Silvestre Carrascosa (January 28, 1926 – June 2, 2024) was an American and Mexican actor. Life and career Silvestre was born on January 28, 1926, in San Diego, California, but was raised in Tijuana, Mexico. He dropped out of college in order to pursue a career in bullfighting, but turned to acting after being badly gored by a bull. In 1960, Silvestre starred in '' Las rosas del milagro'', a historical drama set during the time of the Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire. Silvestre was married first to Leonor Plaza, a Venezuelan woman, but later divorced. He later married artistic representative Blanca Estela Limon, and from 2011, lived in California. Silvestre died in Coronado, California, on June 2, 2024, at the age of 98. María Dussauge Ortiz (born 2 August 1937), commonly known as María Duval, is a Mexican actress and singer who has worked in film, television, and the stage. Career Duval made her film debut in the musical ''Melodías inolvidables'' (1959), an experience she later described as "a great emotion" and her "favorite memory" of her entire career. She once said that musical was her favorite film genre.
