Martin Sjølie
Martin Sjølie (born 25 April 1979 in Bærum) is a Norwegian songwriter and record producer, most known for his work with artists Sigrid Raabe, Sigrid, Maria Mena and Dotan (singer), Dotan. Although he is based at his own Studio in the Park, in Oslo, Norway, he mainly works on projects in the UK. Sjølie has recently worked with, among others, Sam Smith (singer), Sam Smith, Ella Henderson, Maiday, Iain James, Lindy Robbins and David Sneddon, The Nexus. Career Sjølie is published by Kobalt Music Group and managed by Advanced Alternative Media Inc. He is the general manager of his own company, In The Park AS, which was founded in 2002 and is engaged in performing artists and entertainment activities in music. Sam Nixon and Mark Rhodes, known collectively as Sam & Mark, are an English popular music and television presenting duo. They previously competed on the second series of ''Pop Idol'' in 2003, in which they finished third and second, respectively, behind winner Michelle McManus. Frida Amundsen
Frida Waage Amundsen (born 9 September 1992) is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Vaksdal. In autumn 2009, she signed a recording contract with EMI, the debut album ''September Blue'' was released in 2012. What Are Words (album)
''What Are Words'' is the debut album of the American singer Chris Medina. The album was released by Sony Music contains 11 pop-rock songs, some of them sensitive ballads, others more energetic and rocking. Album included the title track " What Are Words", a touching track inspired by Chris Medina's fiancé who had a serious brain injury after a car accident in 2009. Although "What Are Words" was only a minor hit in the United States, it was a big hit in Scandinavian countries topping both Norwegian ''VG-lista'' Singles Chart and the Swedish ''Sverigetopplistan'' Singles Chart. It stayed at #1 for 11 weeks in Norway and for 8 weeks in Sweden. The follow-up single from the album is "One More Time" written by Medina. Christopher Edward Medina (born November 30, 1983) is an American- Norwegian singer born in Chicago, Illinois. In late 2010 he auditioned for ''American Idol'' making it to the top 40 before being eliminated. He is most famous for his hit " What Are Words", which reached number 1 in Sweden and Norway; it also charted in Denmark and made it to number 83 on Billboard Hot 100. The album was released on 11 October 2010, and was the band's first release of new material for more than eight years. It is also the first album to be released since the departure of Paul Marazzi from the band. A1 (band)
A1 (stylised as a1) is a British– Norwegian boy group formed in 1998. Their debut single, " Be the First to Believe", entered the UK singles chart at number six in mid-1999. They achieved chart success in the UK and other parts of the world in the late 1990s and early 2000s, particularly Southeast Asia. In the UK, they scored two number ones and six other top 10 hits, seven of which were written by the band. Adding to this, they won a Brit Award for "British Breakthrough Act" in 2001. They were managed by band manager Tim Byrne, who also formed Steps. Marazzi left the band in 2002, citing personal reasons. Tone Damli Aaberge (born 12 April 1988) is a Norwegian singer-songwriter and actress. She became famous for being a contestant in the Norwegian version of the ''Idol'' series.
