Martin Netolický
Martin Netolický (born 22 September 1982) is a Czech politician who has served as governor of Pardubice Region since 2012. He has been a member of Regional Assembly of Pardubice Region since 2008 and Member of City Assembly of Česká Třebová since 2006. specialized mainly in the area of budget law and financing of territorial self-governing units. Early life and education Netolický graduated from Masaryk University, specialising in the area of budget law and financing of territorial self-governing units. Political career Netolický was first elected to the council of Česká Třebová in 2006. He successfully ran for the Pardubice Regional Council in 2008. In the 2012 Czech regional elections, Netolický was a ČSSD candidate for the Pardubice region, receiving a total of 21.31% votes and 12 mandates. Pardubice Region
Pardubice Region () is an administrative unit () of the Czech Republic, located mainly in the eastern part of its historical region of Bohemia, with a small part in northwestern Moravia. It is named after its capital Pardubice. As an administrative unit, Pardubice Region has existed three times in the course of history. It was established for the first time in 1850, and extended from Český Brod to the Bohemian-Moravian border. In its second existence, it was one of 19 regions as they were set between 1949 and 1960. 2020 Czech Regional Elections
Elections to regional councils in the Czech Republic in 13 regions (except Prague) were held on 2–3 October 2020. Background ANO 2011 won the previous election. Czech Social Democratic Party saw heavy losses and came second. 2017 Czech legislative election resulted in another victory of ANO 2011 while Social Democrats were reduced to 6th place. 2022 Czech Municipal Elections
Municipal elections were held in the Czech Republic on 23 and 24 September 2022. Campaign Mayors and Independents (STAN) STAN launched the spring phase of its campaign on 19 April 2022. Party leader Vít Rakušan called it a "key election" and the party thus chose a Key as a symbol for the party campaign. Rakušan stated that the party wants to show smart and inspirative solutions from experience. The party also introduced the "I want to run" ("Chci kandidovat") project, which aims to help people enter politics. Jan Hamáček
Jan Hamáček (born 4 November 1978) is a Czech politician who was leader of the Czech Social Democratic Party (ČSSD) from February 2018 until October 2021, and minister of the Interior from June 2018 to December 2021. He also served as the President of the Chamber of Deputies from 2013 to 2017, and was acting minister of Foreign Affairs from June to October 2018 and from 12 to 21 April 2021.
