Marko Marinović
Marko Marinović ( sr-cyr, Марко Мариновић, ; born 15 March 1983) is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player. Professional career On 12 July 2013, Marinović signed with Radnički Kragujevac for the 2013–14 season. On 11 December 2013, he tied the Eurocup’s all-time single-game assist record with 15 in his team’s 91-81 victory over Neptunas Klaipeda. In September 2014, Marinović signed a one-year deal with the Slovenian team Union Olimpija. In July 2015, he signed with Romanian club Steaua București for the 2015–16 season. Marinović started the 2016–17 season with SCM CSU Craiova, but left the club in late December 2016. On 1 January 2017, Marinović returned to his first club Borac Čačak. On 29 June 2019, Marinović announced his retirement from playing professional career. Steaua București (Basketball) is the basketball section of CSA Steaua București sport club, based in Bucharest, Romania. The club competes in Liga Națională, the top tier of Romanian basketball. The Serbia men's national basketball team () represents Serbia in international men's basketball competition, and is controlled by the Basketball Federation of Serbia. The 2006 FIBA World Championship was the 15th FIBA World Championship, the international basketball world championship for men's national teams. The tournament was hosted by Japan and held from 19 August to 3 September 2006. FIBA EuroChallenge (called the FIBA Europe League in 2003–05, and FIBA EuroCup in 2005–08) was the 3rd-tier continental club basketball competition in Europe, from 2003 to 2015. EuroCup Basketball, commonly known as the EuroCup and currently called BKT EuroCup for sponsorship reasons, is an annual professional basketball club competition organized by Euroleague Basketball. The league is regarded as Euroleague Basketball's second-tier professional basketball club tournament. Founded as ULEB Cup in 2002, the competition lasted until 2008 when a new competition was introduced after an agreement between ULEB and FIBA under the name of ''EuroCup'' for the 2008–09 Eurocup Basketball, 2008–09 season, following a change in format.
