Marko Janković (journalist)
Marko Janković ( sr-cyrl, Марко Јанковић; 2 July 1947 – 17 January 2023) was a Serbian journalist, politician, disc jockey, and radio and television presenter. He was one of the founders of the Democratic Party and a prominent presenter on RTV Studio B, which he co-founded. Early life Marko Janković was born on 2 July 1947 in Kragujevac, Socialist Republic of Serbia, Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia. His father, Mitar, was a lawyer while his mother worked as a teacher. His paternal grandfather was born in Grabovica near Šavnik. He finished primary school and gymnasium in Kragujevac. While in Belgrade he studied at the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Belgrade. Kragujevac
Kragujevac ( sr-Cyrl, Крагујевац, ) is the List of cities in Serbia, fourth largest city in Serbia and the administrative centre of the Šumadija District. It is the historical centre of the geographical region of Šumadija in central Serbia, and is situated on the banks of the Lepenica (Great Morava), Lepenica River. According to the 2022 census, City of Kragujevac has 171,186 inhabitants. Aleksandar Vučić, (born 5 March 1970) is a Serbian politician serving as President of Serbia since 2017. A founding member of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), he previously served as President of the SNS from 2012 to 2023, Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, First Deputy Prime Minister from 2012 to 2014, and Prime Minister of Serbia from 2014 to 2017. Cosmopolitanism is the idea that all human beings are members of a single community. Its adherents are known as cosmopolitan or cosmopolite. Cosmopolitanism is both prescriptive and aspirational, believing humans can and should be " world citizens" in a "universal community". The idea encompasses different dimensions and avenues of community, such as promoting universal moral standards, establishing global political structures, or developing a platform for mutual cultural expression and tolerance. 2014 Belgrade City Assembly Election
The local election for the City Assembly of Belgrade, capital of Serbia, was held on 16 March 2014, alongside parliamentary election. The election was scheduled in late 2013, after the mayor Dragan Đilas lost a non-confidence motion in the assembly. Twenty-three parties and coalitions ran for 110 seats in the Assembly, with 5% election threshold required to win seats.
