Mark Peterson (soccer)
Mark Peterson (April 19, 1960 – July 7, 2011) was an American soccer forward who played professionally in the North American Soccer League, Major Indoor Soccer League and Western Soccer Alliance. He also earned six caps, scoring one goal, with the United States men's national soccer team. Youth Peterson was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, where he attended Wilson High School. He played soccer at Wilson, as well as for the Norpoint Royals Soccer Club. Professional Peterson elected to forgo college and joined the Seattle Sounders development program in 1979. This was the Sounders' sixth season in the North American Soccer League (NASL). In 1980, he was called up to the first team where he had an immediate impact. In 34 games that year, he scored 18 goals. Tacoma ( ) is the county seat of Pierce County, Washington, United States. Angelo DiBernardo
Angelo DiBernardo (born May 16, 1956) is an Argentine-American former soccer player who played professionally in the North American Soccer League and Major Indoor Soccer League. He also represented the United States at the 1984 Summer Olympics. After retiring from playing professionally, he taught Spanish and coached boys and girls high school soccer. Youth and college DiBernardo, a native of Argentina, moved to the United States with his family when he was sixteen. His family settled in the Chicago area where DiBernardo attended J. Sterling Morton High School West in Berwyn, Illinois. He played soccer both for the school's soccer team and for Sparta, a local Chicago club. DiBernardo attended Indiana University where he played on the school's men's soccer team for three seasons from 1976 to 1978. Steve Moyers
Steve Moyers (born September 23, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri) is a retired soccer forward from the United States, who was a member of the American squad that competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California. He spent eight seasons in the North American Soccer League, one in the Major Indoor Soccer League and one in the American Indoor Soccer Association. Professional Moyers grew up in Saint Louis and attended the University of Missouri-St. Louis where he spent one season, 1976, on the men's soccer team. In 1977, he attended a walk on trial with the St. Louis Stars of the North American Soccer League (NASL). He made the team, but saw time in only three regular-season games. At the end of the 1977 season, the Stars moved to Los Angeles and became the California Surf. Moyers moved with the team and saw his appearances rapidly increase.
