Marián Chobot (born 31 August 1999) is a Slovak football player. He currently plays for Ružomberok and had previously featured for Slovakia U21. Club career He made his Fortuna Liga debut for Nitra on 28 July 2018 in a game against Žilina. Chobot played from start, but was replaced by Christián Steinhübel after 54 minutes. Žilina won the game 2-1. On 20 July 2023, Chobot moved to Niké liga side Ružomberok Ružomberok (; ; ; ) is a town in northern Slovakia, in the historical Liptov region. Topoľčany
Topoľčany (; before 1920; ) is a town in the Nitra Region of Slovakia. The population is around 25,000 in total. The town's population is nicknamed ''Žochári'' (singl. ''Žochár'') (producers, or owners of "mosses"). The Nitra River flows through a wide valley between the two mountain ranges that are visible from the town: Tribeč (to the east) and Považský Inovec (to the west). It is best known for the birthplace of the current prime minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico. The Slovak First Football League (), officially known as Niké liga for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Slovakia and the highest level of the Slovak football league system.
