Marionville, Ontario
Marionville is a dispersed rural community in Russell Township, Ontario, located on the border with the City of Ottawa and North Dundas. The community is located about 750m northwest of the East Castor River. The population of the blocks surrounding the community was 238 according to the Canada 2011 Census. Marionville is situated approximately 37 kilometres southeast of Downtown Ottawa (45 km by road). Russell, Ontario
The Township of Russell is a municipal township, located south-east of Canada's capital of Ottawa in eastern Ontario, in the United Counties of Prescott and Russell, on the Castor River. The township had a population of 16,520 in the 2016 Canadian Census. Communities The primary communities are Embrun and Russell. The township administrative offices are located in Embrun. Smaller communities listed in the official Ontario place names database are Felton, Forget, Marionville, North Russell and Pana. Both the municipal government and Canada Post consider Brisson and Forget to be part of Embrun, and Felton, North Russell, and Pana as part of Russell. Canada Post also considers Marionville to be part of Russell, although the municipality considers Marionville to be separate. North Dundas, Ontario
North Dundas is a township in Eastern Ontario, Canada, in the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry. North Dundas is located approximately south of downtown Ottawa, midway between Ottawa and Morrisburg. It is primarily rural with a few small villages. It is spread across the South Nation River and the East Castor River watersheds. The township was incorporated on January 1, 1998, by amalgamating the former townships of Mountain and Winchester with the independent villages of Chesterville and Winchester. Carleton (Ontario Electoral District)
Carleton is a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada, represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1867 to 1968 and since 2015. It was represented in the Legislative Assembly of Upper Canada from 1821 to 1840 and in the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Canada from 1841 until 1866. The original riding was created by the British North America Act of 1867. However, the riding had existed since 1821 in the Parliament of Upper Canada and the Parliament of the Province of Canada. It originally consisted of Carleton County. In 1966, it was redistributed into the new electoral districts of Grenville—Carleton, Lanark and Renfrew, Ottawa Centre, Ottawa West and Ottawa—Carleton.
