Mario Fernando Hernández
Mario Fernando Hernández Bonilla (7 December 1966 – 22 November 2008) was a Liberal Party congressman for the Cortés Department in Honduras from January 2006 until his assassination. He was secretary for the legislative committee on Industry and Commerce and the legislative committee on Drug Trafficking and Security and was also a member of the legislative committee for Peace and Democracy. In addition he acted as alternative vice president (speaker) of Congress. He had a degree in business administration at University of San Pedro Sula. Death Hernández was shot dead on 22 November 2008 in San Pedro Sula along with two of his colleagues while on his way to a meeting with activists in the Cabañas neighbourhood. Liberal Party Of Honduras
The Liberal Party of Honduras ( Spanish: ''Partido Liberal de Honduras)'' is a centrist liberal political party in Honduras that was founded in 1891. It is the oldest existent political party in the country; further, it is one of the two main parties that have, until recently, dominated Honduran politics. The party is a member of the Liberal International. The PLH is identified with the colors red and white, as the flag Francisco Morazán used in most of his military campaigns during time of the Central American Federal Republic. The nominal President of the National Congress of Honduras is currently Luis Redondo. Honduras
Honduras, officially the Republic of Honduras, is a country in Central America. Roberto Micheletti
Roberto Micheletti Baín (born August 13, 1943) is a Honduran politician who served as the interim and 36th president of Honduras from June 28, 2009, to January 27, 2010, as a result of the 2009 Honduran coup d'état. The Honduran military ousted the President, and the National Congress read a letter of resignation, which was refuted two minutes later by Manuel Zelaya in conversation with CNN en Español; days later, the coup-plotters claimed that the Supreme Court had ordered to forcefully detain President Manuel Zelaya because "he was violating the Honduran constitution"; Zelaya was exiled rather than arrested.
