Marina Matulović-Dropulić
Marina Matulović-Dropulić (born 21 June 1942) is a Croatian politician who served as Minister of Spatial Planning, Construction and Housing in the cabinet of prime Minister Zlatko Mateša from 1995 until 1996, and as Minister of Construction, Spatial Planning and Environment in the two cabinets of Ivo Sanader from 2003 until 2009, as well as the cabinet of Jadranka Kosor until 2010. Furthermore, Matulović-Dropulić served as the 49th Mayor of Zagreb, becoming the first woman in the city's history to hold that post. She was initially appointed to the post in 1996 by President Franjo Tuđman, who had refused to appoint four other candidates elected by the city council to serve as the mayor, an incident known as the Zagreb crisis. Zlatko Mateša
Zlatko Mateša (; born 17 June 1949) is a Croatian politician who served as Prime Minister of Croatia from 1995 to 2000. A member of the Croatian Democratic Union, Mateša is currently the president of the Croatian Olympic Committee and honorary consul of Mongolia in Croatia. Mateša was born and grew up in Zagreb, then Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia, and obtained a law degree at the University of Zagreb in 1974. He worked in INA since 1978, where he rose through the ranks to the position of an assistant director. He was friends with Nikica Valentić, Mladen Vedriš and Franjo Gregurić. The Croatian Peasant Party (, HSS) is an agrarianism, agrarian List of political parties in Croatia, political party in Croatia founded on 22 December 1904 by Antun Radić, Antun and Stjepan Radić as Croatian Peoples' Peasant Party (HPSS). Dražen Budiša
Dražen Budiša (born 25 July 1948) is a Croatian politician who used to be a leading opposition figure in the 1990s and a two-time presidential candidate. As president of the Croatian Social Liberal Party through the 1990s he remains to date the only Leader of the Opposition not to have been from either the Croatian Democratic Union or the Social Democratic Party. Ivo Škrabalo
Ivo Škrabalo (; 19 February 1934 – 18 September 2011) was a Croatian film critic, screenwriter, and member of parliament. Škrabalo was born in Sombor, where he finished elementary and high school before moving to Zagreb in 1952. He enrolled at the University of Zagreb's Faculty of Law and earned an MSc in international law, with a doctoral thesis on the creation of Bangladesh. He also studied at the Zagreb Academy of Dramatic Art and graduated from its film directing department. Škrabalo then worked as a dramaturge at Zagreb-based film studios Zagreb Film (1958–1962) and Jadran Film (1964–1967) and was later hired as an advisor at Croatia Film in the late 1960s. Goran Granić
Goran Granić (born 18 April 1950) is a former Croatian centre-left politician who was the deputy prime minister from 2000 to 2002. Granić was born in Baška Voda. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Zagreb in 1972, obtaining a PhD from the same faculty in 1979. From 1973 to 1978 he worked as a researcher at the Energy Institute in Zagreb. After the first democratic elections in 1990, Granić became the first director of Hrvatska elektroprivreda, the national power company of Croatia. Franjo Tuđman (14 May 1922 – 10 December 1999) was a Croatian politician and historian who became the first president of Croatia, from 1990 until his death in 1999. He served following the Independence of Croatia, country's independence from Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Yugoslavia.
