Marin Čolak
Marin Čolak (born 4 March 1984 in Zagreb) is a Croatian auto racing driver. Career Early years He started racing in karting with much of his young career was spent in Germany, including Formula Renault 2.0 Germany and the German SEAT Leon Cupra Cup. He also competed in some races of the Formula Renault 2000 Eurocup in 2001 and 2002. In 2008 he competed in the new SEAT León Eurocup, where he ended the year as runner-up. Accident In November 2010, according to Croatian reports, Čolak was involved in a road accident in Croatia. The reports say that a female passenger, Ivana Opak (20), was killed in the crash. Čolak escaped with minor injuries. In 2016, he was sentenced to six years in jail for this deadly crash. FIA WTCC Race Of Italy
The FIA WTCR Race of Italy is a round of the World Touring Car Championship that has taken place in Italy. It will be held at Vallelunga Circuit in 2022 season. In 2021, it was held at the extended version of Adria International Raceway. Before that, it was mostly held at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza in Monza near Milan, Lombardy. The Race of Italy was the first round of the WTCC after its return in 2005. It was held at Autodromo Nazionale di Monza between 2005 and 2008 before switching to the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola for 2009 in order to avoid clashing with the Formula One calendar. FIA WTCC Race Of Europe
The FIA WTCC Race of Europe was a round of the World Touring Car Championship, which was held at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari near Imola in Italy during the 2008 season. A round at the newly rebuilt Imola circuit was added to the 2008 calendar as replacement for the Race of Sweden which had been cancelled following a request from the Swedish National Sporting Authority after the WTCC failed to reach a commercial agreement with the event's promoters. As there was already a Race of Italy in the 2008 calendar this round was named the Race of Europe. Incidentally, Imola had previously hosted an additional round of the championship in 2005, under the title of Race of San Marino. Monza was dropped from the 2009 calendar, so the Imola round became the Race of Italy. The FIA WTCR Race of Germany, previously known as the FIA WTCC Race of Germany, is a round of the World Touring Car Cup, which originally was held at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben in Germany. The race ran at Oschersleben every year since the return of World Touring Car Championship from 2005 to 2011. It was left off the 2012 calendar. The event returned to the calendar in 2015, this time hosted at the Nürburgring Nordschleife as part of the 24 Hours Nürburgring weekend. The races are three laps each. The FIA WTCC Race of UK event was a round of the World Touring Car Championship that took place in the United Kingdom. It was last held at Donington Park near Castle Donington in Leicestershire. The race had previously been held at Donington Park from 2002 European Touring Car Championship season, 2002, when the series was known as the European Touring Car Championship but with promotion to world championship status, the event switched to Silverstone Circuit, Silverstone in Northamptonshire for 2005 World Touring Car Championship season, 2005. The FIA WTCR Race of Portugal (known as the FIA WTCC Race of Portugal from 2007 to 2017) is a motor racing event held in Portugal as part of the World Touring Car Cup (WTCR) series, and formerly the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC). The FIA WTCR Race of France is a round of the World Touring Car Cup which was held at the Circuit Pau-Arnos in 2021 and at the Circuit de Pau-Ville in 2022. It was previously held at the Circuit Paul Ricard and the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours. FIA WTCC Race Of Spain
The FIA WTCR Race of Spain is a round of the World Touring Car Championship, which was held at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo near the city of Valencia in Spain. The race ran at Valencia every year from the return of the series in 2005 season through to 2012. The event was initially kept on the 2013 calendar without a venue being confirmed, it was later dropped entirely from the schedule. Jordi Gené is the only Spanish driver to win their home race.
