Havlíčkův Brod (, until 1945 Německý Brod; ) is a town in Havlíčkův Brod District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 24,000 inhabitants. It was co-produced by Dramedy Productions and Česká Television, it maps the lives of the business Valenta family in the period from the establishment of the First Republic to the beginning of the 1930s. Cirkus Bukowsky is a Czech crime television series. It was directed by Jan Pachl, who also writeen the series in cooperation with Josef Viewegh. Description The first six-part season followed thy style of a road movie, with main character psychologist Nestor Bukowsky. It premiered in 2013. The Second season focussed on Lieutenant Kuneš. The series is in the dark style of modern Nordic crime fiction with a slower pace of action.
