Marica Perišić
Marica Perišić (; born 25 January 2000) is a Serbian judoka. She won the gold medal at the 2020 European Junior Championships in women's lightweight (57 kg event). Perišić competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in women's 57 kg event and was eliminated in the second round. Temerin ( sr-Cyrl, Темерин; , ) is a town and municipality located in the South Bačka District of the autonomous province of Vojvodina in Serbia. The town has a population of 17,998, while the municipality has a population of 25,780 (2022 census). The International Judo Federation (IJF) is the international governing body for judo, founded in July 1951. Today the IJF has 200 National Federations on all continents. There are over 20 million people around the globe who practice judo, according to the IJF.
