Marica Bodrožić
Marica Bodrožić (born 1973) is a German writer of Croatian descent. She was born in in Cista Provo, Croatia in the former Yugoslavia. She moved to Germany as a child and currently lives in Berlin. Bodrožić writes primarily in the German language. She is fluent in multiple genres, including essays, novels, poems, and stories. She has worked as a literary translator and a teacher of creative writing. One of her best known works is the novel ''Kirschholz und alte Gefühle'' (''A Cherrywood Table'') which received the EU Prize for Literature. The novel has been translated into Italian by Stefano Zangrando for Mimesis (2017). In 2017, Marica Bodrožić signed the Declaration on the Common Language of the Croats, Serbs, Bosniaks and Montenegrins. Literaturpreis Der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung
Literaturpreis der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung is a literary prize of Germany. The prize money is €20,000 and the prize ceremony takes place in Weimar. The first winner was Sarah Kirsch. Deutschlandfunk (DLF, ''Broadcast Germany'') is a public-broadcasting radio station in Germany, concentrating on news and current affairs. It is one of the four national radio channels produced by Deutschlandradio. History Broadcasting in the Federal Republic of Germany is reserved under the Basic Law (constitution) to the states. This means that all public broadcasting is regionalised. National broadcasts must be aired through the national consortium of regional public broadcasters ( ARD) or authorized by a treaty negotiated between the states. In the 1950s, the German Democratic Republic (GDR) began broadcasting its Deutschlandsender station on longwave. In response to this, the then- Nordwestdeutscher Rundfunk applied for a licence to operate a similar longwave service on behalf of the ARD.
