Maria Bertilsköld
Maria Bertilsköld (born 13 June 1970) is a List of Swedish professional golfers, Swedish professional golfer and National Team coach. She won the 1990 European Lady Junior's Team Championship and played on the Ladies European Tour for five years between 1992 and 1996. Amateur career Bertilsköld won Swedish Junior Strokeplay Championship in 1990. The same year, she won the European Lady Junior's Team Championship with a team that included Annika Sörenstam, Charlotte Eliasson, Åsa Gottmo, Mia Bergman and Carin Koch. Under captain Pia Nilsson (golfer), Pia Nilsson, she was a member of the Swedish team that won the silver behind England in the 1991 European Ladies' Team Championship at Wentworth Golf Club. Solna ( or , ), also known as Solna Municipality, is a municipality in central Stockholm County, Sweden, located just north of Stockholm City Centre. Nina Karlsson
Nina Karlsson (born 16 November 1975) is a retired Swedish professional golfer. She won the Swedish Golf Tour (SGT) Order of Merit in 1997 and 1998, and played on the Ladies European Tour (LET) ten seasons 1998–2007. Amateur career Karlsson won the 1993 Norwegian Ladies Open Amateur Championship and represented Sweden at the 1994 European Girls' Team Championship at Club de Campo in Malaga, Spain, where her team finished fifth. Professional career Karlsson turned professional in 1995 and joined the Swedish Golf Tour (SGT) where she recorded five career wins, including winning the Körunda Ladies Open twice. Sara Eklund
Sara Eklund (born 31 July 1974) is a retired Swedish professional golfer. She won the 1995 Rörstrand Ladies Open as an amateur and played on the Ladies European Tour six seasons, 1997–2002. Amateur career Eklund played on the Swedish Golf Tour as an amateur 1993–1996 and won the Rörstrand Ladies Open in 1995. Österåker Golf Club (Österåkers Golfklubb) is a golf club situated in Åkersberga 20 km northeast of Stockholm, Sweden. It has hosted the Compaq Open on the Ladies European Tour. History Opened in 1988 and co-designed by Sven Tumba and Jan Sederholm, the club was one of few in Sweden ambitious enough to build 36 holes at the outset. It hosted national and international tournaments throughout the 1990s. By 2015 the club worried it could not keep pace with the new championship courses built in the Stockholm metropolitan area. European Girls' Team Championship
The European Girls' Team Championship is a European amateur team golf championship for women up to 18 organised by the European Golf Association. The inaugural event was held in 1991. It was played in odd-numbered years from 1991 to 1999 and has been played annually since 1999. Since the European Lady Junior's Team Championship for women under 22, was discontinued in 2006, due to the trend of players reaching elite level at an earlier age, the European Girls' Team Championship has been regarded as the most important junior team event in Europe outside the British Isles. Maria Anna McBride (née Hjorth born 15 October 1973) is a Swedish professional golfer. She has won five times on the LPGA Tour and twice finished second in major championships. Early years Hjorth was born in Falun. As the youngest of three daughters to Kjell and Monica Hjorth, she first gripped a golf club at three years of age. ADAPT (formerly American Disabled for Attendant Programs Today) is a United States grassroots disability rights organization with chapters in 30 states and Washington, D.C. History The Atlantis Community was started in Denver, Colorado, in 1975, when Reverend Wade Blank, a non-disabled former nursing home recreational director, assisted several severely disabled nursing home residents to move out and start their own community.
