Margo Feiden
Margo Feiden (December 2, 1944 – April 4, 2022) was the proprietor of Margo Feiden Galleries Ltd. located at 15 East 9th Street in New York City. She was also a producer, director, author, and playwright. Career In 1961, when she was 16 years old, Feiden (as Margo Eden) produced and directed a high-school version of ''Peter Pan'' in New York. The following year, she penned the play, ''Out, Brief Candle''. In 1963, Feiden become the agent, as well as producer, director, and publicist, of Kuda Bux, a mystic and mentalist performer. Bux and Feiden appeared on stage and on television together, with Feiden answering questions while Kuda Bux performed. Feiden, a licensed pilot, took photographer Diane Arbus flying so that the photographer could take pictures of Manhattan from the air. Margo Hayes (born February 11, 1998) is an American professional rock climber from Boulder, Colorado. In 2016, she won both the competition bouldering and the competition lead climbing events at the IFSC Climbing World Youth Championships in Guangzhou (China). In 2017, she became the first woman in history to climb a graded route, and in 2019, became the first woman to complete the "9a+ Trilogy". Early life Originally a gymnast who trained at CATS Gymnastics in Boulder, Hayes began climbing at age 10. Margo Harkin (born October 1951 in Derry) is an Irish filmmaker. Best known for the drama '' Hush-a-Bye Baby'' and the documentary ''Bloody Sunday: A Derry Diary'', Harkin produced the surfing documentary ''Waveriders'' in 2008. Biography Margo Harkin was born in Derry in 1951, one of a family of sixteen children. She was educated at Loreto Convent, Coleraine and at the Ulster College of Art & Design, Belfast, graduating in 1974 with a degree in Fine Arts. After 3 years as an art teacher at a Christian Brothers comprehensive school in Creggan, she worked as an Art Tutor and Deputy Director of the Derry Youth & Community Workshop for unemployed young people.
