Margarita González Saravia
Margarita González Saravia Calderón (born June 13, 1956) is a Mexican politician and businesswoman, and a member of the Morena (political party), Morena party. From October 2020 to July 2023 she was general director of the National Lottery for Public Assistance. She is the governor of Morelos after winning the 2024 Mexican local elections#2024 Morelos gubernatorial election, 2024 election, making her the first woman to govern the state. Cuernavaca Municipality
The Cuernavaca Municipality is one of 36 municipalities in the State of Morelos, Mexico. Located in the northwest of the state, it consists of the City of Cuernavaca, which is the state and municipal capital, as well as other, smaller towns. The population is 378,476 (2020).
