Margaret of Savoy (7 August 1420 – 30 September 1479), was a daughter of Amadeus VIII of Savoy and Mary of Burgundy, Duchess of Savoy, Mary of Burgundy. By her three illustrious marriages, she held a number of titles, including ''Duchess of Anjou'', ''Duchess of Calabria'', ''Countess of Maine'', ''Countess of the Palatinate'', and ''Countess of Württemberg''. Family Margaret was one of seven children born to Amadeus VIII of Savoy, Amadeus VIII, Count of Savoy and his wife Mary of Burgundy, Duchess of Savoy, Mary of Burgundy. Ulrich V (14131 September 1480), nicknamed the Much-Loved (), was County of Württemberg, Count of Württemberg from 1419 and then count of Württemberg-Stuttgart until his death in 1480. Life Ulrich was born in 1413, the youngest child of Count Eberhard IV, Count of Württemberg, Eberhard IV and his wife Henriette, Countess of Montbéliard, Henriette, Countess of Mömpelgard. Eberhard died unexpectedly of illness on 2 July 1419, while Ulrich and his older brother Ludwig I, Count of Württemberg-Urach, Ludwig were both minors. Consequently, Henriette became their guardian, together with a regency council of 32 Württembergers. Forcalquier (; ) is a commune in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department in southeastern France. On 26 February 1476, Kraft VI married Helena of Württemberg ( 1455 - 19 February 1506), a daughter of Ulrich V, Count of Württemberg. Helena brought 8,000 guilders into the marriage as her dowry. With her husband's contribution and the morning gift, she had a fortune that, through interest, led to an annual income of around 1,600 guilders, which enabled her to live a life befitting her status.
