Marcos Márquez
Marcos Márquez Lebrero (born 23 July 1977) is a Spanish retired Association footballer, footballer who played as a Forward (association football)#Striker, striker. Over nine seasons (his professional career lasted 15 years) he amassed Segunda División totals of 249 matches and 78 goals, mainly at the service of UD Las Palmas, Las Palmas. Club career Born in Seville, Andalusia, and raised in the Youth system, youth academy of local Sevilla FC, Márquez left in 1999 and signed for Atlético Madrid B, playing 1999–2000 Segunda División, one season with the club in the Segunda División. In July 2000 he returned to his native region by joining Córdoba CF, where he underperformed. Following stints with AD Ceuta and CD Leganés, both from Segunda División B, Márquez moved to UD Las Palmas on 15 June 2005. Unión Deportiva Las Palmas S.A.D. is a professional association football, football club based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain. The club will compete in Segunda División, the 2nd division in the Spanish football league system onwards of their relegation in La Liga. Segunda División B
Segunda División B (English: second division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. It was below the top two professional leagues, the ''Primera División'' (also known as La Liga) and the ''Segunda División'', and above the ''Tercera División''. The Segunda División B included the reserve teams of a number of La Liga and Segunda División teams. 2007–08 Segunda División
The 2007–08 season was the 77th in the history of the Segunda División (known as the Liga BBVA for sponsorship reasons), the second tier of the Spanish football league system. The first matches of the season were played on 25 August 2007, and the season ended on 15 June 2008. Celta de Vigo, Real Sociedad, and Gimnàstic de Tarragona were the teams which were relegated from La Liga the previous season. Racing de Ferrol, Eibar, Sevilla Atlético, and Córdoba were the teams which were promoted from Segunda División B the previous season. The first goal of the season was scored by Joseba del Olmo, who scored an 18th-minute goal for Eibar against Racing de Ferrol in the early kick-off. The first red card of the competition was given to Miguel Cobas of Las Palmas after a challenge on Numancia's Gorka Brit. Adrián Colunga
Adrián Colunga Pérez (born 17 November 1984) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a striker. He appeared in 152 La Liga matches over seven seasons, scoring a total of 36 goals for Recreativo, Zaragoza, Getafe, Sporting de Gijón and Granada. He added 54 games and 17 goals in the Segunda División, and also competed professionally in England, Cyprus and India. Club career Colunga was born in Oviedo, Asturias. After unsuccessfully emerging through Sporting de Gijón's youth system he made his professional debut on loan, in the Segunda División B with Marino de Luanco – also in his native region – going on to serve several others in the third tier and Tercera División while also spending the 2004–05 season for Sporting de Gijón B, Sporting's reserves. Zarra Trophy
The Zarra Trophy is a trophy awarded annually by the Spanish sports daily '' Marca'' to the Spanish domestic player with the highest goal total in La Liga. It is named after the former Athletic Bilbao striker Telmo Zarra. It was awarded for the first time in 2006 to David Villa of Valencia. In Spanish Association football, football, the Pichichi Trophy () is awarded by the sports newspaper ''Marca (newspaper), Marca'' to the top goalscorer of each La Liga season. Named after the Athletic Bilbao striker Pichichi (footballer), Rafael "Pichichi" Moreno, the trophy has been awarded annually since the 1952–53 La Liga, 1952–53 season. All top scorers who preceded the award's creation were retroactively named Pichichi winners by ''Marca''. The first matches of the season were played on 27 August 2006, and the season ended on 17 June 2007. Club Deportivo Linares was a Spanish football team based in Linares, Jaén, in the autonomous community of Andalusia.
