Marcel Wayne Williams
On November 20, 1994, 22-year-old nurse technician Stacy Rae Errickson (December 15, 1971 – November 20, 1994) was abducted from a gas station in Jacksonville, Arkansas, near Little Rock. The kidnapper, Marcel Wayne Williams, forced Errickson to withdraw money from various ATMs before he raped and killed Errickson near the Arkansas River. Williams confessed to the crime when he was arrested nine days later for unrelated cases of rape, and he was thus charged with the kidnapping, rape, and murder of Errickson. Williams was convicted and sentenced to death on January 14, 1997, and he also received three life sentences plus 70 years for separate rape incidents he committed on two women. Williams was incarcerated on death row for 20 years before he was executed on April 24, 2017. Pulaski County is a county in the U.S. state of Arkansas. With a population of 399,125 as of the 2020 United States census, it is the most populous county in Arkansas. Mountain Dew, stylized as Mtn Dew in some countries and colloquially known as Dew in some areas, is a soft drink brand owned by PepsiCo. A condemned prisoner's last meal is a customary ritual preceding execution. In many countries, the prisoner may, within reason, select what the last meal will be. Contemporary restrictions in the United States Contrary to the common belief that all last meal requests, regardless of their complexity, must be fulfilled, various restrictions are in place over what can be requested. Kenneth Williams (serial Killer)
Kenneth Dewayne Williams (February 23, 1979 – April 27, 2017) was an American serial killer who killed four people in Arkansas and Missouri. Originally sentenced to life without parole in Arkansas for killing a University of Arkansas pre-med student and cheerleader in 1998, Williams escaped from prison in a 500-gallon barrel of pig slop in 1999. He then shot and killed another man and stole his truck several miles away from the prison, before unintentionally killing another man in a police chase in Missouri. Williams was convicted of the murder he committed shortly after escaping prison and was sentenced to death. In 2005, he confessed to committing another murder in 1998. Ledell Lee (July 31, 1965 – April 20, 2017) was an American convicted murderer, suspected serial killer, and serial rapist who was executed for the 1993 murder of his neighbor, Debra Reese. He was convicted in 1995, and the Arkansas Supreme Court affirmed the conviction in 1997, but numerous questions have been raised about the justice of his trial and post-conviction representation. Issues have included conflict of interest for the judge, inebriation of counsel, and ineffective defense counsel. A request to postpone the execution in order to DNA profiling, test DNA on the murder weapon, was denied by a circuit judge. Midazolam
Midazolam, sold under the brand name Versed among others, is a benzodiazepine medication used for anesthesia, premedication before surgical anesthesia, and procedural sedation, and to treat psychomotor agitation, severe agitation. It induces sleepiness, decreases anxiety, and causes anterograde amnesia. The drug does not cause an individual to become unconscious, merely to be sedated.
