Marc Overmars
Marc Overmars (; born 29 March 1973) is a Dutch former professional association football, footballer and former director of football at Belgian First Division A, Belgian Pro League side Royal Antwerp F.C. He was previously director of football at AFC Ajax, Ajax. During his football career, he played as a Midfielder#Winger, winger and was renowned for his speed and technical skills. Overmars was born in Emst and was passionate about football from an early age. He began his playing career at SV Epe before joining Go Ahead Eagles' youth team in 1987. He secured a place in the first team by the 1990–91 season, but joined Willem II (football club), Willem II in time for the following season. His stay at the club was short; after 31 appearances he signed for Ajax in 1992. Emst
Emst is a village in the municipality of Epe, Netherlands, Epe in the province of Gelderland in the Netherlands. It is the birthplace of former footballer Marc Overmars. Emst is located in the forest area of Veluwe. Emst was first mentioned between 1255 and 1256 as van Emze. The etymology is unknown. In 1860, it was home to 1,280 people. A Dutch Reformed Church was built in 1864. It burnt down in 1930, but was rebuilt the same year. Aloysius Paulus Maria "Louis" van Gaal (; born 8 August 1951) is a Dutch former football player and former manager who currently serves as an advisor for Ajax. At club level, he served as manager of Ajax, Barcelona, AZ, Bayern Munich and Manchester United, as well as having three spells in charge of the Netherlands national team. The guilder (, ) or florin was the currency of the Netherlands from 1434 until 2002, when it was replaced by the euro. The Dutch name was a Middle Dutch adjective meaning 'golden', and reflects the fact that, when first introduced in 1434, its value was about equal to (i.e., it was on par with) the Italian gold florin. The Dutch guilder was a reserve currency in Europe in the 17th and 18th centuries. Between 1999 and 2002, the guilder was officially a "national subunit" of the euro. However, physical payments could only be made in guilders, as no euro coins or banknotes were available. Education in the Netherlands is characterized by division: education is oriented toward the needs and background of the pupil.
