Marc Márquez
Marc Márquez Alentà (born 17 February 1993) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle road racer who races for the Ducati Lenovo Team. He previously raced for the Ducati satellite team Gresini in 2024 and Honda's factory team from his MotoGP debut in 2013 until 2023. Born in Cervera, Catalonia, Spain, he is nicknamed the 'Ant of Cervera' worldwide (due to his height of ), and 'el tro de Cervera' in his hometown, meaning the 'Thunder of Cervera'. He is one of four riders to have won world championship titles in three different categories, after Mike Hailwood, Phil Read and Valentino Rossi, and is one of the most successful motorcycle racers of all time, with eight Grand Prix World Championships to his name, six of which are in the premier class. Márquez became the third Spaniard after Àlex Crivillé and Jorge Lorenzo to win the premier class title, and is the most successful Spanish rider in MotoGP to date with 66 wins, most recently the 2025 Aragon Grand Prix. The 2023 French motorcycle Grand Prix (officially known as the Shark Grand Prix de France) was the fifth round of the 2023 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season and the first round of the 2023 MotoE World Championship. All races (except for both MotoE races which were held on 13 May) were held at the Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans on 14 May 2023. Àlex Crivillé
Àlex Crivillé Tapias (born 4 March 1970) is a Spanish former Grand Prix motorcycle racing, Grand Prix motorcycle road racing, road racer. In 1992 he became the first Spaniard to win a 500cc Grand Prix and, in 1999 he became the first Spaniard to win the List of 500cc/MotoGP Motorcycle World Champions, 500cc World Championship. Biography Crivillé was born in Barcelona, Catalonia. He falsified his age in order to start racing at 14 in 1985, the minimum age for a license being 15 in Spain. In that year he won the Criterium Solo Moto, a national series for 75 cc Honda streetbikes. 80cc career Derbi (1987–1988) ;1987 Crivillé started his international career in the now-defunct 80cc World Championship with the Derbi team.
