Manoj Tyagi
Manoj Tyagi is an Indian screenwriter and film director who works in Hindi cinema, Hindi films. He won the National Film Award for Best Screenplay for ''Page 3 (film), Page 3'' (2005) and ''Apaharan'' (2006), along with the Filmfare Award for Best Screenplay for ''Page 3'', which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film. He made his directorial debut with ''Mumbai Salsa (film), Mumbai Salsa'' (2007) produced by Vikram Bhatt's ASA Films. Career Tyagi worked for the companies, Xerox, Canon (company), Canon and ABN AMRO before relocating to Mumbai in 2002. He co-wrote ''Satta (2003 film), Satta'' in 2003, with director Madhur Bhandarkar, which received critical acclaim. He went on to work with Bhandarkar for the films ''Aan: Men at Work'' (2004), ''Page 3 (film), Page 3'' (2005), ''Corporate (2006 film), Corporate'' (2006) and ''Jail (2009 film), Jail'' (2009). ''Jail'' is a 2009 Indian Hindi-language prison film written and directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. The film stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mugdha Godse, Manoj Bajpayee and Arya Babbar. Plot Parag Dixit lives happily with his girlfriend Mansi. His life takes a turn when he is falsely implicated in a drug case. His friend Keshav Rathod is responsible for his misfortune. Parag is arrested in Bandra for firing at a police officer and for possession of narcotics. His associate Keshav Rathod is gravely injured and hospitalized in critical condition.
