Patricia Ann Brake (25 June 1942 – 28 May 2022) was an English actress. From the age of 16, Brake trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, before joining the Salisbury Playhouse. She joined the Royal Shakespeare Company where (among other roles) she played Hermia in a production of ''A Midsummer Night's Dream'', directed by Peter Hall, which also featured Judi Dench, Diana Rigg, Ian Richardson and Ian Holm. Derrick John Goodwin (6 July 1935 – April 2022) was an English theatre and television director, writer and producer. Biography Early life Goodwin was born in London and educated at St Mary's School, Hendon (now St Mary's and St John's Church of England School) and the Royal College of Music. He had a BA in music (Hons) and undertook national service in the Royal Air Force. Career Goodwin began his career in stage management. He was an assistant director at the Royal Court Theatre. Goodwin founded The Living Theatre company with Ken Loach, Jill Gascoine and Brian Grellis, converting an old school in Leicester into a 200-seat open stage theatre.
