Manly United FC
Manly United Football Club is an Australian soccer club based in the Northern Beaches (Sydney), Northern Beaches area of Sydney. The club competes in the National Premier Leagues NSW and their home ground is Cromer Park, in the suburb of Dee Why, New South Wales, Dee Why, approximately 15 minutes away from Manly. Its main grandstand is named after former Australia men's national soccer team, Socceroo captain Lucas Neill, who played for the club as a junior before playing overseas at Blackburn Rovers and West Ham United. Manly United Football Club Ltd. was officially formed in 2004 by the Manly Warringah Soccer Association. However, there have been many representative teams competing for the association prior to this date. Cromer Park
Cromer Park is a community football (soccer) ground located in the Northern Beaches (Sydney), Northern Beaches suburb of Cromer, New South Wales, Cromer in Sydney. It is home to Manly United FC and Manly Warringah Football Association. History In 1969, the area was selected to be the site of Cromer Campus, Cromer High School, but was found to be too swampy. The Park was first developed in the 1970s. Structure and facilities The stadium has a 900-seat grandstand named after Lucas Neill the 50th captain of the Australia men's national soccer team, Socceroos and ex Blackburn Rovers F.C., Blackburn Rovers FC & West Ham United player. Kahli Mary Johnson (born 18 February 2004) is an Australian soccer player who plays for Calgary Wild FC in the Northern Super League and the Australia national team. Early life Johnson began playing youth soccer with Dee Why FC and CC Strikers. She later played youth soccer with Manly United. 2010 Waratah Cup
The 2010 Waratah Cup (known as the 2010 McDonald's Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the seventh edition of the knockout competition since its re-introduction in 2004 and the 30th all-time premier state cup since inauguration in 1957. The competition featured clubs from all parts of NSW - from Association, NSW State League Division One, NSW State League Division Two, NSW Super League and NSW Premier League competitions. The 2009 TeleChoice Premier League season was the ninth season of the revamped National Premier Leagues NSW. This season also marked the addition of the Bonnyrigg White Eagles Football Club, promoted from the Super League. The 2009 regular season began on 1 March, and concluded on 9 August. 2008 NSW Premier League Season
The 2008 TeleChoice Premier League season was the eighth season of the revamped NSW Premier League. This season also marked the promotion of two new teams, in the West Sydney Berries and the Macarthur Rams from the Super League (one division lower). This increased the teams competing in the competition from 10 to 12 teams and the number of rounds from 18 to 22 in the regular season. The 2004–05 NSW Premier League season was the fourth season of the revamped NSW Premier League. The Waratah Cup is a knockout cup competition in New South Wales, run by the governing body of football in NSW, Football NSW. Teams competing in the Waratah Cup come from the National Premier Leagues NSW, NSW League One, NSW League Two, and numerous other semi professional & amateur association clubs within New South Wales.
