Manithan (2016 Film)
''Manithan'' () is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language legal drama film written and directed by I. Ahmed. The film features an ensemble cast, including Udhayanidhi Stalin, Hansika Motwani, Aishwarya Rajesh, Radha Ravi, Prakash Raj, Vivek and Krishna Kumar. A remake of the Hindi film '' Jolly LLB'' (2013), it revolves around a junior lawyer who, after a period of struggle and ridicule among colleagues, fights a case against a powerful supreme court lawyer, hoping to further his career. The film began production in August 2015 and ended by March 2016. It was released on 29 April 2016. ''Jolly LLB'' is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language black comedy legal drama film written and directed by Subhash Kapoor and produced by Fox Star Studios. Yaar Kannan
Yaar Kannan is an Indian film director and screenwriter who has worked on Tamil films. He made his debut with the 1985 with the horror film '' Yaar?'' and regularly collaborated with Ramarajan in the late 1980s. Career After assisting Mahendran, Kannan made his debut as a filmmaker by directing '' Yaar?'' (1985), a horror film which gave a breakthrough to actor Arjun in the Tamil film industry. Srinivasan (popularly known as Powerstar and sometimes simply Power) is an Indian actor, doctor, politician, comedian, producer, singer and businessman who has worked in the Tamil film industry.
