Dušan Mandić ( sr-Cyrl, Душан Мандић; born 16 June 1994) is a Serbian water polo player who plays for Ferencváros. He was a part of the Montenegrin junior water polo team before opting to play for Serbia. With Serbian junior national team he won a gold medal at the 2011 Junior Water Polo World Championship. Momčilo Mandić
Momčilo Mandić ( sr-cyr, Момчило Мандић; born 1 May 1954) is a Bosnian Serb political and business figure. He was justice minister in the government of the breakaway Republika Srpska during the Bosnian War before being reassigned to Belgrade as head of the Bosnian Serb territory's government bureau in Serbia. He was later acquitted of war crimes charges by a Bosnian court but convicted of financial offices in a separate trial and issued a five-year prison sentence. In the 2016 Serbian parliamentary election, Mandić was elected to the National Assembly of Serbia on the electoral list of the far-right Serbian Radical Party. Milica Mandić ( sr-cyr, Милица Мандић, born 6 December 1991) is a Serbian retired taekwondo athlete. She is a two-time Olympic champion in the Women's +67 kg category, having won gold medals at the 2012 and 2020 Summer Olympics. She was also the 2017 world champion in the 73 kg category. Matko Mandić
Matko Mandić (22 September 1849 – 13 May 1915), was a Catholic priest and Croatian nationalist politician. Born in Mihotići near Kastav, he studied theology in Gorizia and Trieste, and natural sciences in Prague. He was a member of the so-called second generation of Croatian revivalists of Istria. From 1883 to 1900 he was the editor-in-chief of the Croatian newspaper '' Naša sloga'' in Trieste, where in 1907 he founded the first Croatian daily (''Balkan''). Marko Mandić ( Croatian: Марко Мандић, 20 July 1939 – 29 June 1991) was a Croatian rower. Mandić was born in Goriš in 1939. He competed for Yugoslavia in the 1964 European Rowing Championships in Amsterdam in the eight competition where he won a bronze medal. The same team competed two months later in the men's eight at the 1964 Summer Olympics where they came fourth. Mandić competed in the coxless four at the 1972 Summer Olympics where they were eliminated in the repêchage. Leopold Mandić andich'', OFMCap (also known as Leopold of Castelnuovo; 12 May 1866 – 30 July 1942) was a Croatian Capuchin friar and Catholic priest, who suffered from disabilities that would plague his speech and stature. He developed tremendous spiritual strength in spite of his disabilities and became extremely popular in his ministry as a confessor, often spending 12–15 hours in the confessional. Although Mandić wanted to be a missionary in Eastern Europe, he spent almost all his adult life in Italy, living in Padua from 1906 until his death. He also spent one year in an Italian prison during World War I, since he would not renounce his Croatian nationality. Josip Mandić
Josip Mandić or Josef Mandić (4 April 1883 – Prague, 4 October 1959) was a lawyer and a composer of Croat descent. Biography Mandić was born on 4 April 1883 in Trieste, Austria-Hungary (today in Italy). He graduated law from the University of Vienna in 1906. He also attended the Vienna Conservatory, taught by Hermann Graedener and Robert Fuchs. Mandić returned to native Trieste, opened a law office there, and became involved in politics as a political ally of Dinko Trinajstić. During the World War I, he became a member of the Yugoslav Committee, an ad-hoc group of politicians and activists advocating unification of the South Slavs and dissolution of Austria-Hungary. After the war, Mandić stayed in Switzerland until 1923 when he moved to Prague, Czechoslovakia where he practised law and wrote music again. He died on 4 October 1959 in Prague, at the age of 76.
