Patricia Urquiola
Patricia Urquiola Hidalgo (born 1961 in Oviedo) is a Spanish architect, industrial designer and art director. Biography Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo, Spain, and studied architecture at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. She later moved to Milan to complete her studies at the Politecnico di Milano, graduating in 1989 under the mentorship of Achille Castiglioni. She worked with Vico Magistretti and later served as Head of Design at Lissoni Associati. She has received the Gold Medal of Merit in the Fine Arts from the Spanish government and the Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic. In 2023, she was appointed Honorary Ambassador of Marca España. In 2024, she became a member of the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando and was awarded the title of Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic by the President of Italy for her achievements. Carme Ruscalleda
Carme Ruscalleda i Serra (, born in 1952) is the renowned Spanish chef of the restaurant Sant Pau in Sant Pol de Mar, near Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. She also owns and manages the restaurant Sant Pau de Tòquio in Japan. Ruscalleda was raised in a family of farmers and began cooking as a girl. She studied '' Charcuterie'' techniques, as well as Commerce, and after marrying a grocery owner, Toni Balam in 1975, the couple opened restaurant ''Sant Pau'' in 1988. In 1991 it obtained its first Michelin Guide star and in 2006 obtained its third Michelin star. The Gothic Quarter ( or ; ) is the historic centre of the old city of Barcelona. It stretches from La Rambla to Via Laietana, and from the Mediterranean seafront to the Ronda de Sant Pere. Casa Batlló
() is a building in the center of Barcelona, Spain. It was designed by Antoni Gaudí, and is considered one of his masterpieces. A remodel of a previously built house, it was redesigned in 1904 by Gaudí (but the actual construction works hadn't begun at this point) and has been refurbished several times since. Gaudí's assistants Domènec Sugrañes i Gras, Josep Canaleta and Joan Rubió also contributed to the renovation project.
