Mala (Amazon)
Mala is the name of two fictional characters in DC Comics, both associated with the Amazons (DC Comics), Amazons and the Wonder Woman mythos. The first Mala, introduced in the Golden Age of Comic Books, Golden Age, is a Themyscira (DC Comics), Themyscirian Amazon and close ally of Wonder Woman, known for her role in Amazonian contests and managing Reform Island. The second Mala, from the Bana-Mighdall tribe, serves as a historian and guardian of her people's heritage. Mala has appeared in various media adaptations, including the 1975 Wonder Woman (TV series), ''Wonder Woman'' TV series, the animated film ''Justice League: The New Frontier'', and the video game ''DC Universe Online''. A WikiProject, or Wikiproject, is an affinity group for contributors with shared goals within the Wikimedia movement. WikiProjects are prevalent within the largest wiki, Wikipedia, and exist to varying degrees within Wikimedia project, sibling projects such as Wiktionary, Wikiquote, Wikidata, and Wikisource. They also exist in different languages, and translation of articles is a form of their collaboration. ''Crisis on Infinite Earths'' is a 1985 to 1986 American comic book fictional crossover, crossover series published by DC Comics. Written by Marv Wolfman and penciller, pencilled by George Pérez, it was first released as a 12-issue limited series (comics), limited series from April 1985 to March 1986. As the main piece of a crossover event, some plot elements were featured in tie-in issues of other publications. Since its initial publication, the series has been reprinted in various formats and editions. The idea for the series stemmed from Wolfman's desire to abandon the Multiverse (DC Comics), DC Multiverse depicted in the company's comics—which he thought was unfriendly to readers—and create a single, unified DC Universe (DCU). Vanessa Marshall is an American voice actress who is most active in films, cartoons and video games. Career Prior to her career as a voice actor, Marshall attended Princeton University, majoring in English. She then attended graduate school at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts, attaining a masters in acting and learning different dialects, which Marshall credits for helping her in her voiceover career. She started voice acting after being discovered by a voice acting agent during a solo performance, where she was playing 15 different characters. Pamela Susan Shoop (born June 7, 1948) is an American character actress in films and on television. She often appeared on television series created by Glen A. Larson. She is known for her role in '' Halloween II'' (1981) as Nurse Karen Bailey. Early years Shoop is the daughter of actress Julie Bishop and test pilot Clarence A. Shoop (who was an executive at Hughes Aircraft Company and commander of the California Air National Guard). As a Major General in World War II, he flew the first photographic reconnaissance mission over Omaha Beach on D-Day. She was educated at Westlake School for Girls and Beverly Hills High School, graduating in the latter in the class of 1966.
