Major League Wrestling
Major League Wrestling (MLW) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in New Rochelle, New York. The promotion was founded in 2002 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, by former WWE writer Court Bauer. The promotion markets its product as "Hybrid Wrestling", with its roster featuring a mix of different wrestling styles. The promotion originally ran live events until 2004, with these events seen on the television series, ''MLW Underground TV''. MLW returned to promoting events in July 2017, and resumed weekly television programming with the premiere of ''MLW Fusion'' in April 2018. One Shot (2017)
One Shot (2017) was a professional wrestling supercard event produced by Major League Wrestling (MLW), which took place on October 5, 2017, at the Gilt Nightclub in Orlando, Florida. This was the first event under the One Shot chronology and MLW's first event since 2004. Nine professional wrestling matches were contested at the event. In the main event, Shane Strickland defeated Ricochet. In other prominent matches on the card, MVP defeated Sami Callihan and Tom Lawlor defeated Jeff Cobb. The event drew a crowd of 200 people and was well received by critics and audiences. Production Background Major League Wrestling operated as a professional wrestling promotion between 2002 and 2004. Terrance Michael Brunk (1963 or 1964 – May 11, 2025) was an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name Sabu. He was known for his trademark style of hardcore wrestling, which he pioneered in his time with Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW).
