Maja Vtič (born 27 January 1988) is a Slovenian ski jumper. Career In 2007, Vtič won bronze at the FIS Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Tarvisio, Italy. She placed fifth in the 2011 World Championship in Oslo. In January 2011, she won the national ski jumping competition. Novo Mesto
Novo Mesto (; ; also known by #Name, alternative names) is the List of cities and towns in Slovenia, seventh-largest city of Slovenia. It is the economic and cultural centre of the traditional region of Lower Carniola (southeastern Slovenia) and the seat of the City Municipality of Novo Mesto. It lies on a bend of the Krka (Sava), Krka River, close to the border with Croatia. Name Novo Mesto was attested in historical sources in 1365 as ''Růdolfswerde'' (and as ''Rudolfswerd'' in 1392 and ''Noua Mesta'' in 1419). 2018–19 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup
The 2018–19 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup was the 40th World Cup season in ski jumping for men, the 22nd official World Cup season in ski flying, and the 8th World Cup season for ladies. The season began on 17 November 2018 in Wisła for men and in Lillehammer for ladies; the season concluded on 24 March 2019 in Planica for men and in Chaykovsky for ladies. The first edition of ladies' Raw Air was organized simultaneously with men's edition between 9–14 March 2019. And at the end of the season new tournament called "Russia Tour Blue Bird" for ladies was organized in Nizhny Tagil and Chaykovsky between 16 and 24 March 2019. New rules have been introduced at the 2018 Fall meeting in Zürich: from now on one Continental Cup point will be enough to perform at the Ski Flying event and not one World Cup point anymore. Savina Ski Jumping Center is a ski jumping complex located in Ljubno ob Savinji, Slovenia. History The first ski jumping competition in Ljubno was held in 1931. In 1949, the construction of the new K60 hill began. The hill was planned and constructed by Stanko Bloudek, who also constructed the Letalnica bratov Gorišek ski flying hill. Ljubno ob Savinji (; ''Leksikon občin kraljestev in dežel zastopanih v državnem zboru,'' vol. 4: ''Štajersko''. 1904. Vienna: C. Kr.
