Mahnalanselkä – Kirkkojärvi is a medium-sized lake in Finland. It is located in Pirkanmaa region in the Finnish Lakeland and in the Hämeenkyrö municipality. The lake is quite narrow and about 20 km long. There are four sub-lakes in the lake. The northeast part is called Kirkkojärvi, and southward is the Laitilansalmi strait, Kallioistenselkä open water, the Kallioistenahdas strait, the Mahnalanselkä open water and a narrow sublake called Jokisjärvi.Mahnalanselkä – Kirkkojärvi in Järviwiki Web Service

Kyrösjärvi is a medium-sized lake in Finland. It is situated in the municipalities of Ikaalinen, Hämeenkyrö and Ylöjärvi in the Pirkanmaa region in western Finland. Kulovesi
Kulovesi is a medium-sized lake in Finland. It is situated in the area of the towns Nokia and Sastamala in the Pirkanmaa region. The lake is part of the Kokemäenjoki basin. The lake Pyhäjärvi drains through the Nokianvirta River into the Lake Kulovesi from the west and the lake Kyrösjärvi through a chain of lakes (last one being Mahnalanselkä – Kirkkojärvi) and the Siuronkoski rapids from the north near the Siuro village. The lake gathers waters from an area of 20 822 km2 that includes the whole upper part of the Kokemäenjoki basin. Lake Kulovesi drains into the lake Rautavesi which in its turn drains into the lake Liekovesi and this finally into the Kokemäenjoki River.Kulovesi in the Jarviwiki Web Service

Kokemäenjoki
The Kokemäenjoki (" Kokemäki River", ) is a river in southwestern Finland. Geography The river originates at Lake Liekovesi in the Pirkanmaa region, and flows to the Gulf of Bothnia at Pori in the Satakunta region. Primary tributaries of the Kokemäenjoki are the Loimijoki, Kauvatsanjoki and Harjunpäänjoki rivers. The Kokemäenjoki river delta is the largest river delta in the Nordic countries and an important wildlife area. In May 2025, millions of young fish were released into the river as part of a major spring stocking effort. This included the release of 14,000 two-year-old Atlantic salmon, 18,000 two-year-old sea trout and more than six million newly hatched migratory whitefish from the Harjavalta hatchery. Finnish Lakeland or the Finnish lake district ( , "Lake Finland", ) is a large landscape region in central eastern Finland. The hilly, forest-covered landscape of Lakeland Finland's lake plateau is dominated by drumlins and by long sinuous eskers. Both are glacial remnants deposited after the continental glaciers that scoured and gouged the country's surface receded about 10,000 years ago. The lake basins of the lakeland originate from the joint work of weathering and erosion of fractures in the bedrock. The erosion that made the depressions occurred before and during the Quaternary ice ages. Erosion along fractures has produced linear inlets among the lakes.
