Mahesh Sharma
Dr. Mahesh Sharma is an Indian politician belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party and currently serving as a Member of Parliament in the 17th Lok Sabha from Gautam Buddh Nagar seat. He was elected in the 2014 Indian general election from Gautam Buddh Nagar. He is a physician by profession and owns the Kailash Group of Hospitals based in Noida. On 12 November 2014, he was appointed a Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture and Tourism and Civil Aviation. He has also served as the first MLA of Noida Vidhan Sabha in Uttar Pradesh. He has also played a key role in shaping the vision of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) at the state as well as at the central level. Noida, short for New Okhla Industrial Development Authority, is a planned city located in Gautam Buddha Nagar district of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Noida is a satellite city of Delhi and is a part of the National Capital Region (India), National Capital Region (NCR) of India. Neemrana
Neemrana is an ancient historical town in Alwar district of Rajasthan, India, from Alwar city, from New Delhi and from Jaipur on the Delhi-Jaipur highway in Neemrana tehsil. It is between Behror and Shahajahanpur. Neemrana is an industrial hub.It is the site of a 15th-century hill-fort occupied by Chauhans till 1947. 2014 Indian General Election
General elections were held in India in nine phases from 7 April to 12 May 2014 to elect the members of the 16th Lok Sabha. With 834 million registered voters, they were the largest-ever elections in the world until being surpassed by the 2019 elections. Around 23.1 million or 2.7% of the total eligible voters were aged 18–19 years. A total of 8,251 candidates contested the 543 elected Lok Sabha seats. The average election turnout over all nine phases was around 66.40%, the highest ever in the history of Indian general elections.
