Maham Tariq
Maham Tariq Magsi (born 5 July 1997) is a Pakistani cricketer who plays as a right-arm fast-medium bowler. She appeared in eight One Day Internationals and three Twenty20 Internationals for Pakistan between 2014 and 2017. She has also played domestic cricket for Karachi, Omar Associates, Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited and State Bank of Pakistan. After last playing for the Pakistan team in February 2017, she was named in Pakistan's squad for their series against the West Indies in June 2021. The Pakistan women's national cricket team, also known as Green Shirts or Women in Green, represents Pakistan in international women's cricket. One of eight teams competing in the ICC Women's Championship (the highest level of international women's cricket), the team is organised by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Pakistan made its One Day International (ODI) debut in early 1997, against New Zealand, and later in the year played in the 1997 World Cup in India. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. 2021 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier
The 2021 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier was an international women's cricket tournament that was held in Zimbabwe in November and December 2021. The tournament was the final part of the qualification process for the 2022 Women's Cricket World Cup. All of the regional qualification tournaments used the Women's Twenty20 International format. The tournament was the fifth edition of the World Cup Qualifier, with the fixtures played as 50 overs matches. Originally, the top three teams from the qualifier would have progressed to the 2022 Women's Cricket World Cup in New Zealand. The top three teams, along with the next two best placed teams, also qualified for the next cycle of the ICC Women's Championship. The Pakistan women's cricket team toured the West Indies to play the West Indies women's cricket team in June and July 2021. The tour consisted of three Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) and five Women's One Day International (WODI) matches. The respective A teams also played three 20-over and three limited overs matches against each other, with the WT20I and 20-over matches played as double-headers.
