Magé
Magé () is a List of municipalities in Rio de Janeiro, municipality located in the States of Brazil, Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro (state), Rio de Janeiro. She was succeeded by her deputy Rozan Gomes who was also impeached resulting in a by-election. On 31 July 2011, Nestor Vidal of PMDB won with 68.62% of the vote. The Central Rio de Janeiro Atlantic Forest Mosaic () is a Protected area mosaic (Brazil), protected area mosaic in the state of Rio de Janeiro (state), Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The mosaic is inland, to the east of the city of Rio de Janeiro. History A project to create three new protected area mosaics in the Serra do Mar Ecological Corridor began in December 2005, coordinated by the National Council of the Atlantic Forest Biosphere Reserve. These were the Bocaina Mosaic, Central Rio de Janeiro Atlantic Forest Mosaic and Mantiqueira Mosaic. Funding was provided by Conservation International, the Fund for the Global Environment Facility, the Government of Japan, the MacArthur Foundation and the World Bank. Pau Grande
Pau Grande is a village from the Vila Inhomirim of the municipality of Magé, in Rio de Janeiro. The name "Pau Grande" means "big log" or "big stick" in Portuguese. Pau Grande is located by the Range of the Organs. The district is famous for being the homeland of the international football legend Mané Garrincha. History By 1848, the land where Pau Grande lays used to belong to four siblings. The district's name comes from one large tree that grew close to the gate of one of the siblings' cottage. Brazilian federal road names are composed of the ISO 3166 code "BR", a dash and three numbers. State highways in the country are classified as YY-XXX, where YY is the abbreviation of the state where the highway is located and XXX is a number.
