Giulio Macchi
Giulio Macchi (; 1866–1935) was an Italian aeronautical engineer, the founder of ''Società Anonima Nieuport-Macchi'' (now Alenia Aermacchi). Macchi ran a small coachbuilder's works, ''Carrozzeria Fratelli Macchi'' (Macchi Brothers Coachworks), together with his brothers, before founding ''Società Anonima Nieuport-Macchi'' in Varese on May 1, 1913. The company started building Nieuport aircraft under license but soon (from 1916) began producing its own designs, including the successful Macchi M.5 flying boat fighter. In the 1920s the company became fully autonomous and in 1924 it was renamed Aeronautica Macchi Aermacchi was an Italian aircraft manufacturer. Odile Macchi
Odile Macchi (born Odile Danjou: 1943) is a French physicist and mathematician. She has been a member of the French Academy of Sciences since 2004. Life Odile Danjou was born in Aurillac (Cantal) during the German occupation. She is one of the six recorded children of Bernard Danjou and his wife, born Geneviève Féat. Between 1963 and 1966 she studied at the École normale supérieure de jeunes filles (subsequently merged with the École normale supérieure (EPS)), emerging with a double degree in physics and maths. It was also in 1966 that she received her “agrégation” (teaching certificate) in Maths. The unusual combination of her qualifications opened the door to a position as a research assistant at the Institute of Basic Electronics at the University of Paris-Sud where she was able to work with Bernard Picinbono. Luis Ángel González Macchi (born 13 December 1947) is a Paraguayan politician who served as the 46th President of Paraguay from 1999 to 2003. He was not elected to the presidency but rather assumed it after the assassination of Vice President Luis María Argaña and the subsequent resignation of President Raúl Cubas, as he was the President of the Senate at the time. Luigi Macchi
Aloysius "Luigi" Macchi (3 March 1832, in Viterbo – 29 March 1907, in Rome) was an Italian Catholic nobleman and a Cardinal. He was a nephew of Cardinal Vincenzo Macchi. Gabriel "Gaby" Macchi (born 2 October 1975) is a Paralympic Track and field, athlete from Portugal competing mainly in T12 (classification), category T12 long-distance events. Macchi has competed in the 2008 Summer Paralympics, 2008, 2012 Summer Paralympics, 2012 and 2016 Summer Paralympics, and has won medals at both European and World IPC championships. Career history Macchi was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1975. He began running at the age of 14 to accompany his father who was a keen marathon competitor. As a youth he was diagnosed with juvenile glaucoma and his eyesight progressively worsened into his adulthood. Aurelio Macchi
Aurelio Macchi (27 January 1916 – 1 July 2010) was an Argentine sculptor. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts (''Academia de Bellas Artes'') in 1938, and worked as an assistant to José Fioravanti. Macchi's work was primarily displayed in the United States and Europe, but also the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in Buenos Aires incorporated one of his work, only four years before his death.
