Maarja Johanna Mägi (born 24 March 1997) is an Estonia, Estonian stage and film actress. Maarja Johanna Mägi was born in Tartu. She graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in Tallinn in 2020. She has been an actress at the Vanemuine theatre in Tartu since 2020. Mägi has played a starring role of Keterlyn Kordt in a three-part series of historical drama films ''Melchior the Apothecary'', directed by Elmo Nüganen: ''Melchior the Apothecary'' (April 2022), ''Apteeker Melchior. The Ghost'' (August 2022), and ''Apteeker Melchior. The Executioner’s Daughter'' (October 2022). The films are based on the historical mystery crime novels by Indrek Hargla. In 2022, she was cast in the role of Leena in a folk comedy ''Faulty Brides'', directed by Ergo Kuld. EFTA
The European Free Trade Association (EFTA) is a regional trade organization and free trade area consisting of four European states: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. The Estonian Film and Television Awards (EFTA) are the national film industry awards that honor achievements in cinema and television. They were launched in 2017 and are organised by the Estonian Film Institute, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Estonia, the Cultural Endowment of Estonia and Eesti Media. Two 21-person juries select nominees in 24 categories (12 for film, 12 for television respectively) whereas in a second voting round the winners are determined by both juries. Voldemar Panso (30 November 1920 – 27 December 1977) was an Estonian stage and film actor, theatre director and pedagogue. Biography In 1941, he graduated from Tallinn Conservatory State Stage Art School and in 1955 the Moscow State Theatre Art Institute. 1941-1950 he was an actor in the Estonian Drama Theatre. 1955-1958 he was stage director and 1970-1976 head stage director. 1957-1977 he directed Tallinn State Conservatory Stage Art Department.
