Mainstream Media
In journalism, mainstream media (MSM) is a term and abbreviation used to refer collectively to the various large Mass media, mass news media that influence many people and both reflect and shape prevailing currents of thought.Noam Chomsky, Chomsky, Noam, ''"What makes mainstream media mainstream"'', October 1997, ''Z Magazine''/ref> The term is used to contrast with alternative media. The term is often used for large Media conglomerate, news conglomerates, including newspapers and broadcast media, that underwent successive mergers in many countries. The concentration of media ownership has raised concerns of a homogenization of viewpoints presented to news consumers. Consequently, the term ''mainstream media'' has been used in conversation and the blogosphere, sometimes in oppositional, pejorative or dismissive senses, in discussion of the mass media and media bias. Men Who Have Sex With Men
Men who have sex with men (MSM) are men who engage in sexual activity with other men, regardless of their sexual orientation or sexual identity. The term was created by epidemiologists in the 1990s, to better study and communicate the spread of sexually transmitted infections such as HIV/AIDS between all sexually active males, not strictly those identifying as gay, bisexual, pansexual or various other sexualities, but also for example male prostitutes. The term is often used in medical literature and social research to describe such men as a group. It does not describe any specific kind of sexual activity, and which activities are covered by the term depends on context. The alternative term "males who have sex with males" is sometimes considered more accurate in cases where those described may not be legal adults. As a constructed category The term ''men who have sex with men'' had been in use in public health discussions, especially in the context of HIV/AIDS, si ...

Mechanically Separated Meat
Mechanically separated meat (MSM), mechanically recovered/reclaimed meat (MRM), or mechanically deboned meat (MDM) is a paste-like meat product produced by forcing pureed or ground beef, pork, mutton, turkey or chicken under high pressure through a sieve or similar device to separate the bone from the edible meat tissue. When poultry is used, it is sometimes called white slime as an analog to meat-additive pink slime and to meat extracted by advanced meat recovery systems, both of which are different processes. The process entails pureeing or grinding the carcass left after the manual removal of meat from the bones and then forcing the slurry through a sieve under pressure. The resulting product is a blend primarily consisting of tissues not generally considered meat, along with a much smaller amount of actual meat (muscle tissue). In some countries such as the United States, these non-meat materials are processed separately for human and non-human uses and consumption. Th ...

Merge Module
A merge module is a special kind of Windows Installer database that contains the components needed to install a discrete software bundle. A merge module cannot be installed alone, but must be merged into a standard Windows Installer installation during the creation of the installation. Typically, a merge module or a collection of merge modules related by dependencies, installs a software product or portion of a product at runtime. The purpose of merge modules is to let you add self-contained software modules to multiple installations. For example, if there are a number of applications that require a specifically configured component, it would be possible to create a merge module that installs and configures that component. That merge module could then be added to the installation packages of each product that required that particular component. This saves the effort of having to individually add the necessary files, registry entries, and other components to every installation. It ...

Mobile Station Modem
Snapdragon is a suite of system-on-chip (SoC) semiconductor products for mobile devices designed and marketed by Qualcomm, who often refers to these SoCs as "mobile platforms". They typically integrate central processing units (CPU) based on the ARM architecture, a graphics processing unit (GPU), some digital signal processors (DSP), and may or may not include a cellular modem. Snapdragon semiconductors are designed for embedded systems, e.g., smartphones, netbooks, and vehicles. In addition to the processors, the lineup also includes modems, Wi-Fi chips and mobile charging products. The first Snapdragon-branded product was released in December 2007, using CPU based on Qualcomm’s “Scorpion” microarchitecture. The architecture’s successor, “Krait”, was introduced in 2011 and featured asynchronous symmetrical multi-processing: cores can adjust their clock speed and voltage independent of each other. On the announcement of Snapdragon 800 in 2013 Consumer Electronics ...

Methylsulfonylmethane
Dimethyl sulfone (DMSO2) is an organosulfur compound with the formula . It is also known by several other names including methyl sulfone and (especially in alternative medicine) methylsulfonylmethane (MSM). This colorless solid features the sulfonyl functional group and is the simplest of the sulfones. It is relatively inert chemically and is able to resist decomposition at elevated temperatures. It occurs naturally in some primitive plants, is present in small amounts in many foods and beverages, and is marketed (under the MSM name) as a dietary supplement. It is sometimes used as a cutting agent for illicitly manufactured methamphetamine. It is also commonly found in the atmosphere above marine areas, where it is used as a carbon source by the airborne bacteria '' Afipia''. Oxidation of dimethyl sulfoxide produces the sulfone, both under laboratory conditions and metabolically. Use as a solvent Because of its polarity and thermal stability, molten DMSO2 has been used industria ...
