Obour (city)
Obour (  , meaning "The Crossing") is a city in the Qalyubia Governorate, about 35 kilometers north-east of Cairo. The city has approximately 700,000 residents. It is named to honor the crossing ("obour") of the Bar Lev Line by the Egyptian Army during Operation Badr in 1973, part of the October War. It is one of 16 new urban areas in Greater Cairo. Volvo 7900
The Volvo 7900 is an integrally-constructed single-decker rigid bus and single-decker articulated bus, most commonly available as a hybrid electric bus named Volvo 7900 Hybrid or just Volvo 7900H, but is also available with both diesel and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) engines in some markets. It was manufactured at Volvo's plant in Poland until 2023. From now on the bodywork is manufactured on licence by MCV Bus and Coach in Egypt.The MCV assembled 7900 features a slightly updated front, similar to the Volvo 8900 Electric. MCV Evora
The MCV Evora (stylised as ''eVoRa''; internal designation: MCV C113/C123/C133) is a single-decker bus bodywork produced by Manufacturing Commercial Vehicles (MCV) since 2018, as the successor to the MCV Evolution. The Evora is currently available on Volvo B8RLE and Volvo B5LH chassis. In terms of styling, the Evora shares many features with the MCV EvoSeti double-decker bus, particularly the styling of the front and rear panels. The 12.2-metre model on Volvo B8RLE chassis has a capacity for up to 46 seats and 95 passengers including standing passengers. The Evora is also available on the shorter, 10.8-metre B8RLE chassis. MCV DD103
The MCV DD103 is a low-floor double-decker bus body built by MCV Bus and Coach built on the Volvo B9TL chassis. Most of them are built as open top variants instead of closed top buses. The MCV DD103 was launched in May 2011. One was trialled in London by Docklands Buses and London United. Golden Tours of London ordered nine in 2012, with six being open-top variants.
