Môn FM
MônFM is a bilingual community radio station serving Anglesey and Gwynedd. The station is owned and operated by Gwy-Môn Media and broadcasts on 96.8, 102.1 and 102.5 FM and online from studios in Llangefni town centre. Overview MônFM broadcasts around 75 hours a week of locally-oriented music and speech programming in English and Welsh, including local news and current affairs features, sports, specialist music shows and events coverage. Most of MônFM's programming is produced and presented locally by volunteers, except for national news bulletins produced by Sky News Radio in London 24 hours a day. The station's FM signal also extends to cover large parts of north Gwynedd. In recent years, MônFM's editorial content has been expanded beyond its primary Anglesey TSA (target service area) to provide ample coverage of the mainland county. Llangefni
; ) is the county town of Anglesey in Wales. At the 2011 census, Llangefni's population was 5,116, making it the second-largest town in the county and the largest on the island. Gwynedd () is a county in the north-west of Wales. Sky News Radio is the radio arm of Sky News, owned by Sky UK. It has been operating since June 1999, providing a news bulletin service for UK commercial radio stations operators across the UK and for a number of English-speaking radio stations around the world. Gwalchmai, Anglesey
Gwalchmai () is a village on Anglesey in north Wales, within the Trewalchmai community. The community's population in the 2011 census was 1009. The village is considered to be named after the 12th-century court poet Gwalchmai ap Meilyr, whose own name may be derived from that of the Welsh hero known as Gwalchmei ap Gwyar, who became the Gawain of later Arthurian legend. Penmynydd ( , ), meaning "top of the mountain" in Welsh, is a village and community on Anglesey, Wales. Nebo, Anglesey
Nebo is a hamlet in the Community (Wales), community of Llaneilian, Anglesey, in north-west Wales. It is close to the town of Amlwch. The village is east of Penysarn, near the top of a hill known as Mynydd Nebo. Name and origins An early arrival at what is now a small hamlet was Nebo Calvinistic Methodists, Calvinistic Methodist Chapel, which was first established here in 1788. The chapel itself was named after Mount Nebo (now in Jordan), the mountain from which Moses is described as seeing the promised land. In 1823 the chapel was rebuilt, and the success of the chapel by the nineteenth century is shown by a religious survey of 1851. Amlwch
Amlwch () is a port town and community (Wales), community in Wales. It is situated on the north coast of the Anglesey, Isle of Anglesey, on the A5025 road, A5025 which connects it to Holyhead and to Menai Bridge. As well as Amlwch town and Amlwch Port, other settlements within the community include Burwen, Bull Bay, Anglesey, Bull Bay (Porthllechog) and Pentrefelin, Anglesey, Pentrefelin.
