Maharaj Krishen Raina (born 10 February 1948), popularly known as M. K. Raina, is an Indian theatre actor and Theatre director, director. Raina graduated from National School of Drama in 1970 with the Best Actor award. Early life Maharaj Krishna Raina was born on 10 February 1948 in the city of Srinagar of the princely state of Jammu and Kashmir (princely state), Jammu and Kashmir, Dominion of India, Union of India. ''Main Azaad Hoon'' () is a 1989 Indian Hindi-language vigilante film adapted from the 1941 Frank Capra film, ''Meet John Doe'', by Javed Akhtar, about an opportunistic journalist who concocts a fictitious man in a fictitious article to boost newspaper sales, but when the article gets a huge response, she finds an unemployed man to sit in as Azaad, "man of the masses". The film was directed by Tinnu Anand, and starred Amitabh Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. The film was a box-office bomb and is the lowest grossing Bachchan film of the 1980s, even lower than the then lowest '' Jaadugar'' released in the same year.
