Lorraine Lévy
Lorraine Lévy (born 29 January 1964) is a French screenwriter, film and stage director, and playwright. She is the sister of writer Marc Levy. Life and career After studying literature and law, Lévy became a screenwriter for Jean-Loup Dabadie and René Cleitman while also working as an editor for a publishing house that specializes in art. In 1985, she founded the stage company Compagnie de l'Entracte which staged her first play ''Finie la comédie'' (1987). Mostly a screenwriter, she has written screenplays for many telefilms and several episodes of the series ''Joséphine, ange gardien''. In 2004, she made her feature film directorial debut with the comedy film ''The First Time I Turned Twenty''. Boulogne-Billancourt
Boulogne-Billancourt (; often colloquially called simply Boulogne, until 1924 Boulogne-sur-Seine, ) is a wealthy and prestigious commune in the Parisian area, located from its centre. It is a subprefecture of the Hauts-de-Seine department and thus the seat of the larger arrondissement of Boulogne-Billancourt. Boulogne-Billancourt includes two large islands in the Seine: Île Saint-Germain and Île Seguin. With a population of 121,334 as of 2018, it is the most populous commune in Hauts-de-Seine and most populous suburb of Paris, as well as one of the most densely populated municipalities in Europe. Marc Levy
Marc Levy (born 16 October 1961) is a French novelist. Career Levy was born in Boulogne-Billancourt, Hauts-de-Seine, and studied management and computers at Paris Dauphine University. In the late 1990s, Levy wrote a story that his sister, then a screenwriter, encouraged him to send to Editions Robert Laffont, who immediately decided to publish '' If Only It Were True''. Before it was published, Steven Spielberg ( DreamWorks) acquired film rights to the novel. The movie, '' Just like Heaven'', produced by Steven Spielberg, and starring Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo, was a #1 box office hit in America in 2005. The Other Son
''The Other Son'' (original title: ''Le Fils de l'Autre'') is a 2012 French drama film directed by Lorraine Lévy. Plot The film centers on Joseph Silberg (Jules Sitruk), who is about to turn 18 years old and serve in the Israel Defense Forces, Israeli Defense Forces. During routine tests, his family discovers his blood type is different from theirs. Through further testing, including DNA testing, the family discovers that Joseph is not their son. An investigation is conducted by the hospital Joseph was born in. Due to a bombing attack that occurred on the night he was born, Joseph and another baby were taken to shelters for safety and switched by mistake. The hospital administrator contacts the family of the other baby, who happen to be Palestinian. Their baby, Yacine Al Bezaaz, was born on the same night.
