Long Ping Estate () is a mixed Tenants Purchase Scheme, TPS and public housing estate in Wang Chau (Yuen Long), Wang Chau, Yuen Long, New Territories, Hong Kong, near MTR Long Ping station. It is the third public housing estate in Yuen Long Town and the largest public housing estate in Yuen Long New Town, consisting of fifteen residential blocks completed between 1986 and 1989. Some of the flats were sold to tenants through Tenants Purchase Scheme Phase 6B in 2005. Houses Demographics According to the Population Census in Hong Kong, 2016 by-census, Long Ping Estate had a population of 23,687. The median age was 45.5 and the majority of residents (97.8 per cent) were of Chinese ethnicity. The average household size was 2.9 people. Zachary Wong
Zachary Wong Wai-yin (; born 22 December 1957, Hong Kong) is a former Yuen Long District Councillor (representing Nam Ping) for the Meeting Point and later Democratic Party and a former member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. He joined the Association for the Rights of the Elderly, founded by Yeung Sum and Frederick Fung, in 1982. He was elected chairman of the association in 1991. In 1988, he joined Meeting Point and became a member of its Central Committee in 1991. He was also part of the Joint Committee on the Promotion of Democratic Government. Roy Kwong Chun-yu (; born 9 February 1983) is a Hong Kong politician and novelist. He is a member of the Democratic Party and former member of the Yuen Long District Council for Pek Long. 2019 Hong Kong Local Elections

New Territories
The New Territories is one of the three main regions of Hong Kong, alongside Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon Peninsula.
