''Friday Night Lights'' is an American television drama that aired on NBC and DirecTV (The 101 Network) between 2006 and 2011 based on the book of the same name. The show, set in the fictional town of Dillon, Texas, is about a varsity high school football team. Many of the people in the book have been adapted into similar characters. Brian "Smash" Williams is a fictional character in the NBC/DirecTV(The 101 Network) drama television series '' Friday Night Lights'' portrayed by actor Gaius Charles. He is the starting running back of the Dillon High School Panthers.
