The Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management ( nl, Minister van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat) is the head of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management and a member of the Cabinet of the Netherlands, Cabinet and the Council of Ministers (Netherlands), Council of Ministers. The incumbent minister is Mark Harbers of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) who has been in office since 10 January 2022. Regularly a State Secretary is assigned to the Ministry who is tasked with specific portfolios. The current State Secretary is Vivianne Heijnen of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) party who also has been in office since 10 January 2022 and has been assigned the portfolios of Luchtverkeersleiding Nederland, Aviation, Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management, Water Management and Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute, Weather Forecasting. Mark Harbers
Markus Gerardus Jozef "Mark" Harbers (born 19 April 1969) is a Dutch politician who serves as the Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management in the Fourth Rutte cabinet since 10 January 2022. He previously served the State Secretary for Justice and Security in the Third Rutte cabinet from 26 October 2017 until 21 May 2019. He is a member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD). Early life and education Harbers was born in Ede, Gelderland. He studied economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam but dropped out before graduation. The Royal Dutch Meteorological Institute ( nl, Koninklijk Nederlands Meteorologisch Instituut, ; KNMI) is the Dutch national weather forecasting service, which has its headquarters in De Bilt, in the province of Utrecht, central Netherlands. Constantijn Theodoor, Count van Lynden van Sandenburg, (24 February 1826 – 18 November 1885) was a Dutch politician. Van Lynden van Sandenburg served as Chairman of the Council of Ministers (prime minister) of the Netherlands between 1879 and 1883. History Lynden van Sandenburg was born in Utrecht in 1826.
