Lisa Gunning
Lisa Gunning is an English film director, editor and writer. She began her career in 1990s, following her graduation from University College London, where she studied English. In 1998, she met director Anthony Minghella while working on a spot for Comic Relief followed by the short ''Play'' as part of the Samuel Beckett season for Channel 4 which marked the beginning of a long running collaboration. After working on some musical sequences in '' The Talented Mr Ripley'', her first feature was Minghella's ''Breaking & Entering'' followed by his flagship pilot for '' The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency''. She went on to work with John Madden on crime thriller '' Killshot'', ''Salmon Fishing in the Yemen'' for Lasse Hallström and '' Seven Psychopaths'' for Martin McDonagh. Goldfrapp
Goldfrapp are an English electronic music duo from London, formed in 1999. The duo consists of Alison Goldfrapp (vocals, synthesiser) and Will Gregory (synthesiser). Despite favourable reviews and a short-listing for the Mercury Prize, their 2000 début studio album '' Felt Mountain'' did not chart highly. Goldfrapp's second album '' Black Cherry'', which incorporated glam rock and synth-pop sounds into their music, was released in 2003. The album influenced the same dance-oriented sound of their third album '' Supernature''. ''Supernature'' took Goldfrapp's work further into dance music, and enjoyed international chart success. Alison Elizabeth Margaret Goldfrapp (born 13 May 1966) is an English musician and record producer, known as the vocalist of English electronic music duo Goldfrapp. Early life Goldfrapp was born on 13 May 1966, in Enfield, London, the youngest of six children. Her mother, Isabella Barge, was a nurse. Her father, Nicholas Goldfrapp, had been an army officer, and worked in advertising. Goldfrapp's surname is of German origin. While Goldfrapp was growing up, her family moved frequently, eventually settling in Alton, Hampshire, where Goldfrapp attended the independent Alton Convent School. The Byron Bay Film Festival is a popular AACTA Awards accredited independent awards-based film event held in the late Australian summer at the Byron Community & Cultural Centre, in the coastal town of Byron Bay. ''Tales of Us'' is the sixth studio album by English electronic music duo Goldfrapp, released on 6 September 2013 by Mute Records. In June 2013, the duo embarked on the Tales of Us Tour to promote the album. Background and release Goldfrapp began recording their sixth studio album in April 2011, recording in the English countryside, then mixing in London. A re-launch of the band's official website was synchronised with the announcement, which featured a video trailer directed by Lisa Gunning. The duo debuted songs from ''Tales of Us'' at the Manchester International Festival on 17 and 18 July 2013.
