Linda Strawberry
Linda Strawberry is an American artist, director, editor and musician, best known for her work on tours and music videos. Career Initially working under her birth name Linda Rowberry, Strawberry collaborated with Especially For Youth on ''I Know My Redeemer Lives'' (2000) and with David Coverdale on '' Into the Light'' (2001) She spent some time working as a recording engineer, most notably working on Sarah Mclachlan's '' Afterglow'' (2002) which has since sold over 4 million copies. In, 2001 she performed with Djali Zwan (the second, acoustic incarnation of Corgan's Zwan project), appearing on the soundtrack to the movie '' Spun''; she is the lead singer on the version of "Love to Love" from that soundtrack. Strawberry was signed to Chrysalis Records with a publishing development deal from 2004 to 2006. Especially For Youth
Especially For Youth (often abbreviated as EFY) is a week-long youth-oriented seminar focused on fellowship and teaching the principles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). It is run by Brigham Young University's (BYU) Division of Continuing Education (CE) and is the largest church-oriented summer camp, attracting over 50,000 attendees every year at locations around the world. Structure Attendance is open to all youth aged fourteen to eighteen. Sessions, which are primarily held in the United States, follow a common curriculum created by members of the LDS Church. Sessions take place during the summer months in order to coincide with the summer break practiced by many schools. The program is led by Latter-day Saint young adults who serve as counselors for the youth during the sessions. Mike Byrne (musician)
Michael William Byrne (born February 6, 1990) is an American drummer who was a member of the band The Smashing Pumpkins. When Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan called for rehearsals to replace Jimmy Chamberlin, Byrne auditioned and was chosen out of thousands of applicants. He played drums in Sky Saxon tribute band Spirits in the Sky for six shows in August 2009, along with Corgan, Kerry Brown, Kevin Dippold, Mark Tulin, Linda Strawberry, Ysanne Spevack, Mark Weitz, and Dave Navarro, and also performs drums on the Pumpkins project, '' Teargarden by Kaleidyscope''. As a part of ''Teargarden'', Mike contributed drumming duties on ''Oceania'', the Pumpkins' eighth full-length album. Peter John Joseph Murphy (born 11 July 1957) is an English singer, songwriter, and musician. He is the vocalist for the post-punk goth rock band Bauhaus. After Bauhaus initially disbanded, Murphy formed Dali's Car with Japan's bassist Mick Karn and released one album, '' The Waking Hour'' (1984). He later went on to release a number of solo albums, including '' Should the World Fail to Fall Apart'' (1986) and ''Love Hysteria'' (1988). The Shadow Bureau
The Shadow Bureau is a musical collaboration between Nitzer Ebb’s Bon Harris and Jeehun Hwang, an award-winning songwriter and video game, film, and TV composer. The duo is the main force behind the group with a rotating cast of guest collaborators to serve the project as needed by Harris and Hwang. In January 2011, Harris and Hwang were recruited by independent film company Indomina Media to create a demo reel for several of the company's indie films. They were asked to create non-traditional soundtracks and this collaboration gave birth to The Shadow Bureau. Single Releases The duo's first scored song, "Axis Of Envy" was for the martial arts film ''True Legend'' and featured the vocals of West End Girls singer Isabelle Erkendal and lyrics and vocals by Kraftwerk's Wolfgang Flür. Tears for Fears are an English pop rock band formed in Bath, England, in 1981 by Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith. Curt Smith (born 24 June 1961) is a British singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, and co-founding member of the pop rock band Tears for Fears along with childhood friend Roland Orzabal. Smith plays bass guitar, has co-written several of the band's songs, and sings lead vocals on the hits "Mad World", "Pale Shelter", "Change", " The Way You Are", "Everybody Wants to Rule the World", and "Advice for the Young at Heart".
