Liew Daren
Liew Daren (born 6 August 1987) is a Malaysian badminton player. His biggest success to date is having won the 2012 French Open Super Series. He reached a career high ranking of World No.10. He also represented Malaysia competed at the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games and 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games. Early life Liew was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and was educated at the Taman Midah Primary School. He began playing badminton at the age of seven. His brother was once a national badminton player. Liew started to play badminton professionally in 1998. Career During the 2012 Thomas Cup quarter-final, he was defeated by Lin Dan from China, but not before he brought it into a rubber game of 21–17, 9–21 and 5–21. His best performance was during the Yonex French Open, where he won his first Super Series title on 28 October 2012 after beating Viktor Axelsen from Denmark with the scores of 21–18 and 21–17. The 2020 Spain Masters (officially known as the Barcelona Spain Masters 2020) was a badminton tournament which was held at the Pavelló de la Vall d'Hebron in Barcelona, Spain, from 18 to 23 February 2020 with a total prize purse of $170,000. Tournament The 2020 Spain Masters was the fourth tournament of the 2020 BWF World Tour and also part of the Spain Masters championships, which have been held since 2018. Nanjing Youth Olympic Sports Park
The Nanjing Youth Olympic Sports Park () is a sport complex located in Pukou District, Nanjing, China. Its construction was started in December 2011 as part of the venues used for 2014 Summer Youth Olympics. The complex, which occupies around 1,000,000 m2 of land, consists of a main arena with other smaller sport venues. Main arena The main arena consists of two parts, the 21,000-seater Nanjing Youth Olympic Sports Park Arena and the 18,000-seater Nanjing Youth Olympic Sports Park Stadium. Japan National Badminton Team
The Japan national badminton team represents Japan in international badminton team competitions. The Japanese women's team have won the Uber Cup 6 times, with their most recent being the 2018 Uber Cup. The men's team won their first Thomas Cup title in 2014. The mixed team were runners-up three times at the Sudirman Cup. The Malaysia national badminton team is a badminton team that plays for Malaysia in international competitions. The men's team has enjoyed immense success, having won the Thomas Cup five times, most recently in 1992 and became runner-up nine times. In the Uber Cup competition, the women's team with the best results in 1975, 2004, 2008 and 2010 edition making it to the quarter-finals. Takuma Ueda
is a male Japanese badminton player from the Unisys team. He was the victor of the final match against Malaysia over Liew Daren in the 2014 Thomas Cup, which saw Japan win the tournament for the first time and in their debut final.
