Li Hui (artist)
Li Hui was a Chinese contemporary artist. Biography Beijing based artist Li Hui (1977–2020) graduated from the China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2003. . As a conceptual artist, he worked in diverse mediums including transparent neon-lit acrylic sculptures and laser beams, and visualized the uniqueness and new boundaries of the new age of Chinese New Media art in his sculptures. With the help of most modern techniques, Li Hui articulated considerations and an almost poetic aura surround the result. The Chinese people or simply Chinese, are people or ethnic groups identified with China, usually through ethnicity, nationality, citizenship, or other affiliation. The Central Academy of Fine Arts or CAFA is an art academy under the direct charge of the Ministry of Education of China. The Manila Bulletin calls the school "China’s most prestigious and renowned art academy". It is one of the most selective universities in the country and turns away more than 90% of applicants every year. Laser Art
A laser is a device that emits light through a process of optical amplification based on the stimulated emission of electromagnetic radiation. The word "laser" is an acronym for "light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation". The first laser was built in 1960 by Theodore H. Maiman at Hughes Research Laboratories, based on theoretical work by Charles Hard Townes and Arthur Leonard Schawlow. A laser differs from other sources of light in that it emits light which is ''coherent''. Spatial coherence allows a laser to be focused to a tight spot, enabling applications such as laser cutting and lithography. Spatial coherence also allows a laser beam to stay narrow over great distances (collimation), enabling applications such as laser pointers and lidar (light detection and ranging).
