Legacy (The Flash)
The fifth season of the American television series ''The Flash (2014 TV series), The Flash'', which is based on the DC Comics character Flash (Barry Allen), Barry Allen / Flash, premiered on The CW on October 9, 2018, and concluded on May 14, 2019, with a total of 22 episodes. The season follows Barry dealing with the consequences of his future daughter's time traveling, while confronting a new foe in Orlin Dwyer, the Cicada. It is set in the Arrowverse, sharing continuity with the other television series of the universe, and is a spin-off of ''Arrow (TV series), Arrow''. The season was produced by Berlanti Productions, Warner Bros. Television, and DC Entertainment, with Aaron and Todd Helbing, Todd Helbing serving as showrunner. The season was ordered in April 2018, and production began that July. Grant Gustin
Thomas Grant Gustin (born January 14, 1990) is an American actor and singer. He is best known for his roles as Barry Allen (Arrowverse), Barry Allen / The Flash on The CW series ''The Flash (2014 TV series), The Flash'' as part of the Arrowverse, and as Sebastian Smythe on the Fox Broadcasting Company, Fox series ''Glee (TV series), Glee''. Early life Thomas Grant Gustin was born on January 14, 1990, in Norfolk, Virginia. He is the son of Tina Haney, a pediatric nurse, and Thomas Gustin, a college professor. During his high school years, he attended the Governor's School for the Arts program in Norfolk for musical theater. He also went to Hurrah Players Incorporated which is a theater organization in Virginia. In 2008, he graduated from Granby High School and went on to attend the BFA Music Theater Program at Elon University in North Carolina for two years.
